Common Questions

You’ve Got Questions - I’ve Got Answers

How long does a home inspection take ?

A general home inspection normally takes 2-3 hours to complete.

When can I expect the reports to be delivered ?

The delivery time depends on the current workload. Most reports are delivered via email within 24 hrs after completing the inspection.

When do I need to pay for the inspection and how do I do so ?

Payment is due at the time of inspection. If you are unable to attend and would like an online electronic invoice we'll be happy to provide one for you. We accept all major credit cards, checks, and cash.

Can I attend the home inspection ?

You are always welcome to attend any home inspection and are openly encouraged to do so as it makes answering questions much easier.

Do you provide any warranties ?

We do not offer any warranties since our inspections are for the day and time that we are there. We can not predict the future or what lady luck will toss our way.

Do you require a contract for your services ?

We do require a pre-inspection agreement before providing services.

Do you offer any discounts ?

We offer a $25 discount to all currently active duty military personnel and their spouses on all home inspections.

Do your inspection reports have digital pictures ?

Yes. All of our reports have digital pictures in them.

Do you price match other inspectors quotes ?

No. Often times a lower price is a direct representation of a less experienced inspector. Often, you get what you pay for in this business and I highly suggest that you do not make a decision on a $100,000+ home that may take as many as thirty years to pay off based off of $25-$50 price reduction.

Do you perform mold/mildew, WDO (Wood Destroying Organism), or septic inspections ?

No. The mold inspector performs mold inspections, the pest inspector performs WDO inspections, and the septic companies perform septic/sewer inspections. This is how the Florida law is governed for those areas of inspection. We do however report anything that appears to be an issue in those areas and make recommendations for further inspections as needed.
